For years I helped companies build custom software as a developer, designer, and founder of a nine-person studio. I knew what it took to ship a product.
In 2023 I sold a custom business app for €40,000. It took months and a full team. Last week I rebuilt the same thing alone, in seven days.
Not because I got better at coding. Because the tools changed. Custom software used to need budgets and dev teams; now it needs someone who can think in systems.
I didn't always get it right. In 2021 I built a product nobody wanted and lost over €20,000 of my own money. That failure taught me what no course could:the real validation is the sale. Not a survey. Not a sign-up. Someone paying you.
That's why validation is the very first step in the Playbook.
